What Does GSM Mean in T-Shirts?
GSM stands for Grams per Square Metre. It indicates the weight and density of the fabric. Generally, a higher GSM produces a heavier and more substantial fabric, while a lower GSM produces a lighter garment.
The right GSM depends on the fabric type, garment design, climate, application and desired feel—not GSM alone.
